We have chosen a profession which aims to bring smiles, joy and laughter to the world. However, for those poor souls who suffer from ‘coulrophobia’ (fear of clowns) we have the opposite effect. Just type ‘coulrophobia’ into youtube to see the effect that a white face and red nose have on some mentally-ill types. However, help is at hand. FOCCE has commissioned some boffins from Brunel University to devise a simple game which will help coulrophobics slowly acclimatise themselves to the paraphernalia of clowning and thereby ease their fears.
